Bukit Genting Hill

Talking about "Genting", people would think of the one located at on the highland of Pahang, Malaysia. However, Bukit Genting Hill is one located in Penang.
The latitude gives advantage on viewing a scenic sunset up till the horizon of the sea. Something like this:

On 23rd May, a Saturday, Chan Wei, Xin Ying, Hooi Tin, Joling and I went on a trip there. We're on Chan Wei's Toyota Unser and travelled all the way to Teluk Kumbar and went through all the scary slopes to reach Bukit Genting Hill.

WARNING:
THE SLOPES ARE VERY STEEP. PLEASE DRIVE AT YOUR OWN RISK,
BETTER ON ONE THAT HAS ENOUGH HORSEPOWER TO OVERCOME THE GRAVITY

It gave a pretty refreshing feel and views on top of the hill, with some funny looking stuffs and ornaments.

There's a small garden near the restaurant area.

The restaurants over there are known to serve relatively genuine Thai cuisine, which for me was not so exciting as I don't like Thai cuisine which my friends do.

Crabs

Tomyam kung                                                 Green curry chicken

Belacan fried rice                                                       Pineapple fried rice

Claypot tofu                                   Kerabu                                                         Our dinner

After dinner, we continued to grab some night shots as the lights were turned on.

That ended our day over there.
It is worth spending a trip there for wonderful scenery and nice food, and as a lot of Penangites, like me, have never visited or even known this place before.

WARNING:
THERE'S NO LIGHT ALONG THE EXIT ROUTE AND IT'S VERY DARK AT NIGHT.
PLEASE DRIVE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
