Just in time for my birthday, I received an 8" Royal Chocolate Truffle Cake from Dig In Cakes.

Weighing at 1.5kg, their freshly baked Royal Chocolate Truffle Cake is made with copious amounts of decadent milk, truffles and dark Belgian chocolate.

Blanco Court Beef Noodles @ Our Tampines Hub

Superior Beef Noodles Blanco Court Beef Noodles 百蘭閣牛肉粉 started its business in 1979 in, you guessed it right, Blanco Court, which according to Singapore Infopedia, was a marketplace for stationary and party goods (like SKP). It was subsequently acquired by the Raffles Medical Group and Pidemco Land in 1997, then refurbished into the Raffles Hospital we all know today.

Their traditional Hainanese style beef noodles are affordable, with the Burpple Beyond deal, we got ourselves two bowls of beef noodles for the price of one at their Our Tampines Hub outlet, totaling up to just $7.90 for our dinner.

One of my pet peeves is seeing my food garnished with coriander/parsley without prior notice, it’d be great if Blanco Court Beef Noodles first asks if a customer prefers that. We had to fish out every bit of it before diggint in.

We went back to the same outlet at Our Tampines Hub more than a week later to try out their Superior Beef Noodles.

It's a huge bowl of heavenly beef goodness - sliced beef, beef ball, beef tripe, beef tendon, beef shank. Highly recommended!!

This time we managed to avoid having our noodles garnished with coriander by indicating our preferences to the cashier while ordering.

Rocky Master @ White Sands

Prawn Aglio Olio Ever since I moved to Pasir Ris, White Sands has become my most frequented shopping mall. I knew there's a cafe located right at the entrance but just didn't pay much attention to it or even think about patronizing it despite noticing it so many times. You literally just have to turn right after doing your SafeEntry check-in entering the mall.

I guess if we're visually exposed to an object repeatedly over time, its presence can be nullified by our perception.

I've taken a few days of annual leave this Christmas season, not having much planned, Joanne and I finally visited Rocky Master for brunch.

Flavours by Saute @ Funan

Joanne and I visited the National Gallery Singapore on a Sunday afternoon. Exhausted after a few hours of walking/standing, we scrolled our phones for nearby Burpple deals, and discovered Flavours by Saute at Funan.

We only realized it's a vegetarian restaurant after physically arriving there. We totally couldn't tell that without looking at its logo with the Chinese phrase 尋味·素特. Truly, a carnivore like me only steps into a vegetarian restaurant with a Burpple deal, and as a meat lover, I struggled to decide what to order.
