Hillsong - Still (Ukulele Cover)

Who wants to guess where was the video taken? Haha...
It looks pretty mysterious, even with an antique-like armchair. Well, it's my first time doing cover with ukulele and I found out that it's so light and convenient to bring around that I decided to record the video outdoor.

Initially I wanted to shoot behind the Kent Ridge Guild House, but the kids at the swimming pool were making noise, that made me walk all the way to the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences.

I first settled down at the open space behind Block AS4 where there're benches and huts, realizing that it might not be very nice convenient to shoot as a few people have passed by. Then I moved to an area with some small trees with roots curving along the ground which I can sit on. I suffered some ant bites I think. In the middle of the process, it started to drizzle, what a disappointment, guess I have to move to indoor again.

And finally, the disclosure of the location I shot this video - it's the corridor of the Department of Psychology at AS4 #04. I knew during weekend, no one goes there, because sometimes my friends and I use this pathway to get to the Arts canteen more conveniently.

And so it's quiet, and I took a few shots with different angle, and audio was extracted from the first successful shot. Pardon me that I have to zoom in to hide my face because my facial expression sucks which I realized much later.

Oh ya, I haven't talked about the song I covered. It's Still, by Hillsong. It's a Christian song in C major, which I found rather easy to be played on ukulele. It's my first time doing religious song cover, hope you all like it, and glorified be His name.

"Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth."
Psalm 46:10
